Mommy, can I go out and kill tonight?

I don't know if anyone else has noticed but zombies have become extremely popular in the last few months. Not popular as in 1950's B-movies, but popular as in toys being made for small children and making them seem fun and playful. There are quite a number of contributing factors to the resurgence of the zombie craze. Games like Call of Duty: World at War even created a whole franchise off of suppressing the undead in a never ending onslaught known as Nazi zombies. Now I very much enjoy mowing down armies of undead soldiers but now everyone want's a zombie apocalypse to happen. There are movies like Shaun of the Dead (awesome movie) and Zombieland that poke fun at surviving an attack from those hellwalkers. Now before zombies were all the rage there were a select few who truly believe that zombies are coming, myself included, but now it seems like every kid who has access to any form of entertainment wants a zombie horde to come and mutilate their family. I honestly don't know what to think of the situation. Maybe it's better that more people prepare for what's possibly coming to us. I mean let face it modern medicine isn't far from reviving the dead. The Russians allegedly brought a severed dog head back to life back in the 1940's, so imagine whats possible now. It seems that humans have always been fascinated with things that can destroy them. It's one of the biggest faults of the human race, we are always trying to find new ways to kill ourselves. Oh well we have probably reached our peak, it's only natural for a disaster to come and kick us off of our pedestal.  Nevertheless killing zombies should not just be viewed as a passtime, we should all be preparing for the undead uprising, or whatever disaster hits us first. Thanks for reading this p.o.s.

First post of the most awesometacular blog ever made

Oh the huge manatee indeed (greatest pun ever). I never thought that I would create a blog let alone actually write something on it. This is obviously my first entry into the hopefully never ending tapestry that is The Synthetic Generation. There is nothing harder than getting something started, which is why my mind forces me to procrastinate in order to make things as difficult as possible. Anyway, I started this blog to basically talk about things that I find really interesting and also to discuss everything that's ruining modern society. I'll do my best to cover a very vast variety (tee hee
alliteration rulez) of topics at least once a day. Hopefully some people will actually read this and make a habit of checking on it every day. Well that's all for now, thanks for wasting precious time on a schlub like me. (^_^)y
